Bride & Belle: Ivory knife pleat Horseshoe.

The horseshoe is presented to the bride after the ceremony. It symbolises your blessing of the marriage with Good Luck'.

In Australia over generations it has been believed that horseshoes displayed on a wall in the traditional U shape, captures good luck and keeps it within the home. This tradition dates back to the early settlers when they farmed the land on horseback.  Overtime the giving of a traditional horseshoe gave way to the material covered bridal horseshoes we see today.

It has become rare to receive these from guests but as someone who received two on my special day; it was such a wonderful surprise that I simply had to stock these so other Brides could experience the joy I did.
